M.S. in Special Education and Applied Disability Studies Through Mercyhurst University

Over the past 10 years, the U.S. has experienced a severe shortage of special education teachers. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for special education teachers is expected to grow by 8% by 2026.  In this program you’ll understand various learning disabilities, best practices for developing IEPs, and learn various strategies to teach and supervise special education students.

About the Master’s in Special Education

You must complete 30-39 credits which takes a minimum of 21 months. You’ll receive credit toward your master’s using PLS Classes coursework, teaching experience, PDE endorsements — and you can even transfer credits from other graduate programs.
