Sharon has spent 34 years in the classroom and currently teaches 7th and 8th grade math at Lenape Middle School in the Central Bucks School District. Earlier in her career, she taught computer and business courses at Pocono Mountain High School. During her first few years of teaching, she also coached basketball, softball, and swimming. “I stopped coaching to have a family, and I thought I’d always get back into it when I ‘got older’ and life settled down a bit. I guess I’m still waiting for that to happen.”
Sharon has one daughter, Morgan, and three dogs—Charlie, Tootsie, and Johnny—who keep her on her toes. She loves spending time outdoors, whether she’s relaxing by her pool, hiking with her dogs, biking, or doing yard work. A longtime fitness enthusiast, Sharon enjoys running and is passionate about riding her Peloton bike. She’s also participated in several half marathons and triathlons during the summer months. “Although I thoroughly enjoy interacting and socializing with so many people in a day, taking a little time out just for me gives me that recharge that I need to get up and do it again each day.”
