Rebecca is a retired K-12 teacher; however, that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to grow, learn, and share her experience with other educators. In addition to teaching PLS Classes, Rebecca also is a Graduate Education Adjunct Professor at Wilkes University. As a Co-Chair the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund in Lancaster, PA, her team raised over $200K in order to provide scholarships for college to thirty-three Lancaster students in 2020. Rebecca has been on the Board for close to 40 years, and acting Co-Chair for several years. Although it’s a volunteer position, she describes it more like a full-time job. But a rewarding job in that it’s a terrific way to give back to the community. When she’s not busy, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also buys and sells antiques, loves to hike and birdwatch, read, garden, travel when possible, and learn and do new and different things.
