I graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Secondary Education – Social Studies and continued my education at the University of Delaware, where I earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I have over 20 years of experience in education, having served as a high school social studies teacher, virtual instructor, and high school assistant principal.
Currently, I teach 10th-grade World History and support students across a wide range of learning levels. I’m actively involved in our school community and promote service-learning and civic engagement through activities such as volunteering at our local food bank and organizing community events for charitable causes.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Rob, our children—Logan, Emily, Ashley, and Bryce—and our dogs, Sophie and Lily. We’re an active bunch and love the outdoors. Living near the Delaware beaches allows us to take day trips to the ocean and bay, where we enjoy hiking, playing in the sand and surf, and fishing.
