Jessica Pilgreen is a National Board Certified Teacher with over 20 years of experience in public education. She currently teaches 9th and 12th grade English Language Arts at Wesclin High School in Trenton, Illinois, where her courses include English I, English I Honors, British Literature, Multicultural Literature, and Creative Writing. She is certified in both Middle School and Secondary ELA and Speech, and has also taught composition at the college level.
In addition to her classroom responsibilities, Jessica sponsors her school’s Diversity Club and serves on the district’s Technology Committee. She has also worked as a Virtual Instructional Coach, supporting fellow educators in refining their practice. Jessica is passionate about fostering creativity and excitement in the classroom and is deeply committed to lifelong learning and teacher effectiveness.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, creative pursuits, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
