I was born and raised in Clarks Summit, a small town just outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania. I live with my fiancé, our three wonderful little girls, and our two fur babies, Louie and Pini. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, staying active, and spending quality time with family.
After graduating from Penn State University, I moved to Alexandria, Virginia to begin my teaching career in Fairfax County Public Schools. There, I taught an accelerated curriculum for fourth-grade Gifted and Talented students for two years. While the position was incredibly rewarding, I missed being close to my family in Scranton. In 2013, I returned to northeastern Pennsylvania and began teaching sixth-grade math and science at Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center.
In addition to teaching full time, I also serve as an instructor for PLS Classes and work as an adjunct professor at Keystone College.
