Hello Everyone,
My name is Beth Currey, and I currently teach mathematics in a traditional classroom setting at a suburban high school about 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the end of this school year (’25-’26), I will proudly celebrate my 28th year of face-to-face classroom teaching!
I hold a B.S. in Mathematics Education and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. As part of my master’s program, I had the privilege of completing coursework through PLS 3rd Learning, which made a meaningful impact on my teaching practice. I’ve been instructing PLS courses since 2009 and continue to enjoy the opportunity to work with fellow educators across different settings.
In previous chapters of my professional life, I taught middle school in Charles County, Maryland, served as a computer trainer and database programmer at Georgetown University, and managed a computer help desk for a private corporation.
