For every enrollment between April 1-30, 2022, PLS Classes will donate $10 to the World Central Kitchen (WCK), a worldwide, not-for-profit organization providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.
The organization’s most recent effort is serving food to displaced families of Ukraine, providing over one million fresh meals to those fleeing their homes and those who are staying in the country.
Learn more about WCK and their ongoing effort to serving chef-prepared meals to communities impacted by natural disasters and prolonged humanitarian crises, including those in Ukraine.
Thanks in advance for helping us contribute to the cause — it means the world.
*UPDATE* – Thank you to all of those who enrolled in a PLS Class throughout the month of April. Because of you, we were able to donate over $1,000 to the World Central Kitchen (WCK).
About WCK’s Disaster Relief Work
World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Chef Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need. Deploying our model of quick action, leveraging local resources, and adapting in real time, we are able to respond to multiple disasters at once — often on opposite ends of the world. By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to survivors of disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis. Learn more at wck.org/relief.
