May is Mental Health Awareness Month. As teachers, it is essential to check-in on your students’ mental health. To help, we created this free printable containing several worksheets focused on mental health and supporting your students’ well-being.

Mindful of Emotions

All Grade Levels

This worksheet is designed to help your students better understand emotions. In the activity, students are given a variety of situations and asked to draw an expression in response to how each might feel.

Self-Care Coloring

All Grade Levels (even teachers!)

Coloring not only benefits elementary students, but it can be cathartic for all ages. According to the Clay Behavioral Health Center, coloring helps reduce stress, boosts concentration, improves fine motor skills, and encourages socialization.

This worksheet is a well-deserved brain break, designed for the whole class (teacher included!) in mind.

Coping Songs Brain Break

Grade Levels: 6-12

Music can be therapeutic, especially during times of stress. This brain break activity encourages students to think outside of the box and create their very own “coping playlist.” Students are asked to think of a song and write down a song that relates to each of the situations provided.

31 Days of Mental Health Journal Prompts

Grade Levels: 5-12

Journaling can help manage anxiety and relieve stress. This activity gives students the opportunity to reflect on their feelings and focus on their mental health.

30 Day Self-Care Challenge

Grade Levels: 5-12

The objective of this worksheet is for students to complete all 30 self-care challenges. The challenges provided will all relate to ways in which students can practice self-care, focus on their wellness, and encourage them to try new things.
